With 4,120 acres, Griffith Park is the largest urban park in the United States. The view from the observatory is stunning, and you can check out its exhibits and planetarium shows while you’re there! The park’s miles of hiking trails and gorgeous sites make it the perfect place to spend a day unwinding. And, as a plus, it also boasts the Hollywood sign and the Los Angeles Zoo & Botanical Gardens.

It may be a stretch of pavement, but with character and celebrity impersonators and plenty of other street performances, the city of LA has turned this stretch of sidewalk into a great time. While there, you can find the stars of your favorite celebrities, and stop by the TCL Chinese Theater on your way. The theater opened in 1927 and shows all of the excesses of Hollywood’s Golden Age, and tours are acclaimed.
